Reflections from people I've had the privilege to support along their path.
“My conversation with Arisa earlier this year was a genuine turning point. I came in overwhelmed by a challenging team dynamic, and she created a space where I felt completely seen and supported. Drawing from her broad experience across leadership, delivery, and complex team environments, she helped me unpack not just the situation but what I actually want in my career.
Arisa didn’t offer surface-level advice. She asked the kind of questions that shift your perspective entirely, helping me reframe the issue and reconnect with my own clarity and confidence.
I left the conversation not only feeling lighter and more empowered, but with a new lens on how I want to show up in my work and what kind of environment I thrive in.
If you’re at a professional crossroads or just need someone who truly gets it to help you find your way through, book time with Arisa. You’ll wish you had sooner.”

“I reached out to AH Advisory when I felt unsure about whether I should continue on a technical track or move into people or product management. I was feeling quite lost about my career, but Arisa took the time to truly understand my background and helped me unpack my experience supporting clients and driving product adoption.
She helped me realise how I could transfer my current skills to bridge my way forward. We explored the different directions I could pursue in depth, and I came away with clear, practical next steps — like reaching out to specific people in my current network, exploring stepping-stone roles, and reframing my experience on my CV. Her guidance gave me the clarity and confidence I needed to get unstuck and move forward in my new-found career path.
I’m incredibly grateful for her support and would highly recommend AH Advisory to anyone looking for clarity and encouragement in their career journey.”

“Over nearly a decade as a research professional at a Japanese institute, I saw AI adopted across adjacent fields, reshaping workflows and expectations. It became clear we could not maintain progress without internal AI expertise. I was tasked with pursuing formal training abroad to build this capacity.Germany, with its strong focus on applied AI in industry and research, was a clear choice. However, few advisory services accessible from Japan cater to applicants like me. Most focus on the US or UK and prioritize social science fields such as MBAs, making it difficult for technical professionals aiming for STEM programs in Europe to find targeted support.AH Advisory provided exactly that. Drawing on experience in European STEM education and tech leadership, Arisa offered tailored guidance on academic positioning, program selection, and alignment with our institutional goals. She also helped me navigate the practical challenges of relocating with a young family—ensuring the plan was sustainable professionally and personally.Since completing the program, I now apply AI directly in our research. The results have had a measurable impact for our organisation. I am truly grateful for the expertise and care that made this transition possible.”

Every journey is unique. If you’re curious about how I might support yours, feel free to learn more about my approach.
Hi. I’m Arisa H.
AH Advisory is built on everything I’ve learned through mentoring, teaching, leading teams, and navigating my own life’s turning points. I studied astrophysics, developed a career in tech and people leadership, taught martial arts across ages and stages, and have a foundation in education. I have relocated internationally more than six times for both work and academics. I’ve also birthed and raised my two children while working in countries that are home to neither me nor my partner.Along the way, I’ve experienced burnout, identity shifts, interpersonal recalibration, decision paralysis, and the slow rebalancing that follows major transitions—experiences that shape how I support practical, grounded change that honours who you’re becoming.I help people find clarity and move forward in ways that feel sustainable and true. My approach blends logic and intuition, shaped by my background in science, arts, and leadership. I prioritise understanding your full context and trust that your instincts are as valuable as experience and knowledge. My style grew from both my own challenges and the journeys others have allowed me to witness.I’m grateful for every chance to do this work. I’d be honoured to be part of your journey too.
